The School set up the External Communication and Alumni Affairs Office in 2014, in which two professional administrative staffs are responsible for maintaining alumni relationships and raising money. There are seven kinds of donation items, which aim to reward outstanding faculty and students, to financially support the poor students, to support sustainable development of the MPAcc Association, and to build the brand of School of Accounting.

It is worth mentioning that in the period of SWUFE 90th anniversary celebration, JD Capital Co., Ltd., led by group chairman Wu Gang, donated USD $15.38 million to SWUFE and established Jiuding-SWUFE Black Horse Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fund with SOA, which assists with student development, innovation, and entrepreneurship activities. Furthermore, Wu Gang himself donated USD $0.77 million to support the establishment of the high-level talent group at SOA.

In memorizing our pioneer Professor Xie Lin, China’s first CPA and prominent accounting expert, who was also the founder and director of the School of Accounting, our alumni donated two statues of Professor Xie Lin. One is placed in our office building, while the other is placed on the square of our campus.
